BIOGRAPHY
In 2006 I earned a Diploma in Professional Counselling from the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training. In 2006 I earned the designation of Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC.) from the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA). In 2009 I completed a master’s degree in religion, concentration in Christian Counselling, from Bethany Divinity College and Seminary, Dothan Alabama. In 2019 I earned the designation, Master of Professional Clinical Counselling from the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. I earned a Master Diploma - Mental Health Coaching: Professional Mental Health in 2025.

Husband of Doraldena, Father of Steven, Michael, and Ruthie. Grandfather of Elliot, Emma, Alexandra, Lillian, Harrison, Charlotte and Benjamin.
I transitioned from pursuing a career with the Canadian Armed Forces to answer a call to Christian Ministry in 1972. From 1972-1977 I was employed as an Operator with Canadian National Railways, while engaged in ministerial training. I entered the ministry with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland in 1977 and was ordained in 1982. In 2003 I transferred to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and received ordination with them in 2004. (In 2019 I transferred back to the PAONL in my home province.)
